Final edit: Of course, rational people would probably agree that his proposal does not rise to the level of high crimes and misdemeanors. The point here is that normally rational people are angry enough to ignore that fact and use the term anyway. This does not bode well for Obama if he doesn't change his tune, and he'd better do it quick before the damage is irreversible (if it isn't already). The issue is trust and he has just lost a great deal of it from a lot of people.

Oppose this, but don't pretend he said one thing and is now doing another. He's doing exactly what he said he would do, repeatedly. He did not promise you anything else. But a lot of people always seem more interested in watching Fox News and reveling in crazy Republican talk rather than listening to what our own candidates are saying. So it's a little late to start complaining if you weren't paying attention. Maybe you just didn't believe it, and thought it was an election ploy. But you should know this man means what he says, and always acts on it within his powers to do so, whether we like it or not. With Obama WYSIWYG.
 
And BTW, what would be the "impeachable" offense here? Is proposing something a high crime and misdemeanor now?

That BO has at times said one thing and done the exact opposite - no time to dig for them right now but they're there. As far as impeachment goes, no this does not rise to that level obviously. The point here is that normally rational people are using the term in response to the proposed cuts, which illustrates the level of outrage better than anything else could.
