The cognitive dissonance astounds me.  Almost every DUmmie is against legal workers coming here on work visas yet they all support open borders allowing throngs of welfare cases to enter the US.  They should be more concerned about their freebies being wasted on illegal immigrants than they are about losing a job that they don't want or won't do.

In any case, I like tales of success, but not when they gleefully recount having succeed by causing someone else to fail.

And I do not join the chorous when people use derogatory terms about others and celebrate other people's loss.

I dislike to see people celebrate someone's loss, particularly when it happens through no fault of their own. This person probably did not set out to take the job. The suggestion to train poorly is a bad idea too, as it may ultimately reflect on the trainer. Now, I am not saying the OP can't avoid warning the replacement about the co-workers to stay clear of, and other such office politics  I also want to say that I should feel very lucky to have worked with bosses that were typically upfront to me about such things. Glad it worked out for you, OP, and I hope things work out for the replacement.

Poor Drain what can be worse than to be dissed on your bouncy? :lol: :lol:

I agree. H1B VISAs are no small effort. It takes a company sponsor to submit all of the paperwork and pay the fees which are not cheap either. The company has to commit lots of personnel time ($$) and their own money to the process.

I have experience for several immigration cases and have sponsored members of my wife's family. It is not a small commitment.

This DUmmie is in full bouncy mode.
