I was most impressed at the research some at DU have done on the Mother Church. Peace Patriot was outstanding. I never thought I would give a ^5 to anyone at DU, I will have to keep an eye on them as here is a Dummy that knows much.
Unfortunately I too agree with some of the posters in worry about the Popes safety. The little visit with him and the last Pope must have been a humdinger of a visit, most likely why the Pope Frank will not move into the special chambers in the Vatican. But then as our Pope had visited so often the Vatican he knew full well the walls had ears, ---Like the old movies where the portrates on the wall had human eyes behind them, watching and listening.
Being from South America, and able to survive the politics there he must realise how to tell an a foe from a friend, and by the looks of it his only friend is our past Pope that seems to have run for the hills.
Pope Benny and Pope Frank may just bring down the church if allowed to live much longer. I do hope both men have private security along with the Swiss guards, there is not millions but billions at stake here, reputations that are priceless and Power over millions of people.
From the very first day our new pope has flaunted traditions in the face of the very people that hired him as Pope, He is playing to a nasty crowd, corrupt, money hungry and into the power business.
It will be interesting to see if this Lamb of God can corral the wolves before they jump the fence and eat him all up.
