For the past week Limbaugh has been on a tear over marriage equality. In a supposed effort to protect traditional marriage--which he believes in so much he's done it 4 times at last count--Rush has been smearing homosexuals by associating gay marriage with every taboo he can think of. He compared gay marriage to marrying his couch. He associated it with romance between humans and animals.

But yesterday, Limbaugh drew a line between marriage equality and perhaps the greatest taboo of all: sex with children. Making the argument that legalizing marriage between two consenting homosexual adults would lead to marriage between anyone and anything, Limbaugh said:

As usual the low information voters of the DUmp are behind the times.
They have no clue of the movement to normalize pedophilia, and the latest claim that they are born that way.
In other words the disgusting pigs that prey on kids are using the same methods the gay community used.
I'm not comparing gays to pedophiles, but as one that observes the world and what goes on I can see the patterns. I may not be a trained historian, but if you look back 20 years ago no one thought that gay marriage would ever become a serious issue, yet here we are.

The DUmmies also fail to recognize that once the gays get marriage redefined as a civil right that should be granted to anyone the possibilities will be endless. You will have bisexual people that demand to marry their boyfriend and their girlfriend. The Muslims will demand the right to have multiple wives and if marriage is an unalienable right then how can there be any limits on it?

What bugs me the most is, everything that is not specified as an actual right under the constitution is seen as a right that can't be restricted in the least, abortion, gay marriage, free healthcare and all the other new rights the left dreams up. Yet rights spelled out specifically in the constitution can be limited, right to free speech, right to bear arms and so forth.

And 3 or 4 FemiNAZIs protesting orange juice because some company was sponsoring Rush.

The fact is, that Rush's point is a valid one, though now politically incorrect.  Society has a vested interested in regenerating itself, and a man and a woman are still the only way we know to do that.  The family also constitutes the basic building block of society.  It exists to provide love and support for each other as well as a stable and loving atmosphere for the proper raising children.  By extension, the society builds from there.  The institution is blessed by God who has an interest in continuing the process He started.
Same sex couples may be a wave of a confused future, but they won't be married.  Once you breach the reasoning to include homosexuals, the logical case for not widening the definition further (as well as making the institution a sham) is weakened.

What I'm trying to figure out is how people can argue both that people were born that way and have no choice AND that these are two consenting adults.  To me, those points seem to be contradictory.
