A man is in custody after stabbing multiple people at the East Liberty Target.

It happened before 5:50 p.m. at the store on Penn Avenue.

Initial reports indicated that a man used a long kitchen knife to stab people on the second floor of the store. Witnesses say the stabbing appeared to be random.

Authorities say five people have been injured — at least four stabbed, some multiple times. None of the injuries are said to be life-threatening.

I'm not a weapons expert.

With that said, I think the grahamcracker DUmmies is all screwed up. I think knives kill more than guns or bullets. Now if you include a bullet FIRED from a gun the bullet would have the edge, but the DUmmie didn't mention that.

Bullets are loaded into weapons by people and most bullets probably go into targets. No stats on that but it seems logical.

It isn't the tool it is the person that is dangerous.  A steak knife in the hands of someone trained in close quarters combat can be a devestating weapon.  An AR-15 in the hands of a crazed madman is  dangerous to unarmed people, but if you'll notice, he offed himself as soon as he was going to face someone on equal terms.

You could also ask the middle ages before muskets. Swords are bigger knives. Hey! they put knives on guns if needed.

If you put a bayonet on your rifle and stab someone is it still less dangerous than actually shooting them? What would they ban the knife or the gun? Can't say the bullets hurt them.

Here's a story were 2 people where shot in a drive by but no one was killed. Maybe bullets don't kill either?
