Just how much is this pension really? A pension in essentially an annuity. A$427k lifetime annuity for a 63 year old women would cost you $8.5million dollars today because of low interest rates. She basically received an $8.5million retirement bonus.

It is way more than a CEO gets from severance package and it is every year for life!
