If anyone here has stock in CVS you better sell it off now before the DUmmy boycott shuts the place down for good.

1. Irony being that among other things -

CVS sponsors vaccine campaigns. Some vaccines can totally screw up a person's endocrine system, and that can result in no appetite control, among other problems.

Yep CVS makes people fat, then they turn around and weigh their fat employees.

I wonder if when the government starts doing mandatory weigh ins if the DUmmies will be as bothered as they are about CVS doing it.
Probably not since when the government does stuff like that it's a good thing as far as they are concerned.

3. I would never have prescriptions filled or do any shopping at CVS...

they pick and choose which prescriptions they will fill over-riding a doctor's expertise...especially when it comes to birth control measures for women....

they treat their employees like chit...who are they to decide what a person's healthy weight is? what is next with cvs...they going to charge employees for breathing the air in their stores?

They will leave it to the government to tax the air we breathe, hell the carbon taxes that you goons want so badly will tax the air we breathe.

9. thumbs up.

I say good for CVS. Obesity is a major problem, a ticking-time bomb. Perhaps aggressive measures such as these can help reduce this problem.

I heard of other companies using negative consequences to curb smoking or obesity, such as having to donate money to a group that one disagrees with (the NRA, for example) if goals are not met.

Fact is more than half of our population is fat and it's only getting worse. Good job CVS for demanding better of ourselves.

That is the wrong way to mole. If this was a state or local government doing this, that response would fit right in. However CVS is an evil corporation so they can not be praised for an intrusion that should only be allowed by government.

14. Yea, threats always work

So an employee has to submit to a physical, bloodwork, testing, etc., or else face a $50 fine every month and so what if an employee is found to be over their "ideal body weight"? Is CVS going to put them on a diet and spy on them to make sure they follow it?

Sounds to me like a huge over reach on the employers part and for what, a lousy minimum wage job? Part of the reason alot of folks don't eat well is because eating healthy can be very expensive, fresh fruits, veggies, low fat. low sodium foods come at a price.

I was a Social Worker for many years and it is quite the challenge for low income families to eat a healthy, balanced diet when there food budget is very small. I know it can be done, but it takes alot of creativity and for many families, especially single moms working and trying to keep a roof over her families head, may not always make the healthiest food choices, instead just trying to keep within their food budget, shopping at food discount stores.

I'll never shop at another CVS again, for sure.

Yeah that's the government's job.

10. CVS

CVS came to L.A. and bought up Save-On drugs overnight the stores were remerchandised and had new staffs from some distant planet. The pharmacy royally screwed up long standing customer's prescription ordering and I believe maybe people died because they couldn't get their drugs in time ( hard to check this out)
Yes a big hearty Eat Shit ! goes out to CVS the upside is that people flocked away and went to smaller drug stores where you're treated well.

I'm sure people died by the thousands due to CVS.  :mental:

How do you know they treat their employees like crap?  Whenever I go couponing in CVS, the cashiers and employees walking around the store are always nice to me.  They do not seem abused.

Isn't CVS just complying with Obamacare?  Don't you love Obamacare?  Why are you DUmmies being such racists?

Wow, if cashiers don't feel abused when a couponer shows up they must be smiling 24/7.

You have to remember that to the DUmmies, requiring people to show up and actually work is abuse.
They think people should get paid to show up whenever they feel like it and play on their iPhones the entire shift all for CEO wages.

That's what I was thinking too.  This sounds exactly like information that insurance companies will have to collect inorder to comply with Obamacare.

I'm actually surprised the DUmmies aren't on board with this.

This all due to Obama hellcare. More the stupid DUches are learning what is in the bill. This was never about health care but about taxes and control.  Which are the same thing.

And the greed of insurance companies and corporations.

Why, liberals politicians are victims of the bribes sent them by these groups.

Get used to the new Obama-doesn't-care health rules DUmmies.

Overweight will not be a problem when Bill Ayers and Obama institute their new 5 year "Starve the Masses" program.

Off topic a little, but I cannot for the life of me understand couponers. I see them at the grocery store, in little teams of two or three, with their huge binders full of coupons, and things like ten bottles of ketchup in their cart.

But I have yet to find a coupon that saves anything. Maybe they have some secret place to get valuable coupons, open only to sworn members of the sisterhood (I'm sure they exist, but I've never seen a man with coupons, sorry PJ Comix.).

Virtually without exception, the coupons I find are for name-brand items, and they bring the price down, but it's still more than the price of the store-brand item. I almost always buy the store-brand item and don't recall ever being disappointed.

I prefer store brand as they are the same thing repackaged under their name instead of a national brand. Also, coupons have too many conditions.

A while back I read in one of our local liberal rags that the state of WV was going to start requiring this for their employees. I seem to recall it was to satisfy some provision in obumblecare, I could be mistaken though. Been a while since I read it.

For those of you that don't know, the state of WV self insures their employees. So government is already doing it... and yes... the local liberal rag was all for it.  Next time I see my buddy that works for the state I'll ask him.

There's nothing at all wrong with it if that's what you enjoy.

I've just never seen a coupon that dropped the price enough to match that of the store-brand item, and at the big stores nearly everything has a store-brand equivalent.

If they had coupons on store-brand stuff, I'd be all over that.

I've used coupons at restaurants, but never at the grocery store (except the one-cent items at Publix).
