I'm reasonably sure most of you are aware of it.
I'm also somewhat surprised the DUmp didn't freak out.
Only a few OPs about it.
In Latest breaking, there's this..

Ed Schultz Leaving MSNBC Weeknights, Moving To Weekends
Source: huffingtonpost.com
MSNBC's Ed Schultz announced on his Wednesday show that he would be leaving his 8 p.m. weeknight time slot. Schultz will move "The Ed Show" to the weekends, where it will air from 5 to 7 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. Thursday night's show will be his last. His weekend show will begin in April.

Current is good but will go away.
I don't suppose they are bringing Keith back, I wish, I wish, I wish! Try pooping in the other hand, see which fills up.

54. Never asked anyone to care.

I appreciate that he speaks out for unions and workers rights, I just don't think we need a left Limbaugh.
And I do change the channel when the Ed show is on.
Maybe that's another reason why his show is moving.
Not just you, masterboy. Everyone else tuned him out, too.

In GD, there were a couple OPs.

Ed Schultz: champion of unions and the working class, getting booted is one more
symptom of how the shrinking middle class is being left in the dust. I am not smart enough to know if his 8PM time slot was the best use of his voice, but damn it all, to marginalize and diminish his passion is a huge loss for working class issues.
Schultz needs to be used as a roving guest on Morning Schmo, to challenge the sockless, laid back ass kissers who do not give a shit about unions, teachers, safety forces, working poor and jobless.
Rendell, Harold Ford, and all the other hacks..need to be replaced.
It is incumbent on MSNBC to figure out a creative and visible way to keep his positions and passions in the mix.
Poster was then savaged by the primitives for using the word "booted".
Here's an early one.

14. An issue for you does't make "booted" a fact. Yes it does. He was booted.

it's still just making up shit based on a personal impression or perspective.
For those of us that work long days and have family, homework, kids, games, sports etc all week long, an Ed Shultz break on the weekend is very welcome.

First Keith Olbermann, now Ed Schultz GRRRRRR My letter to MSNBC
To All Concerned: They're not.

Just when I was starting to believe in MSNBC again, what do you do?
You move Ed Schultz to weekends. Why on earth would you do that? Low to nonexistent ratings.
His ratings are great.  :lmao: He is the most honest, passionate, sincere, and caring  :mental:
individual on your channel. He is the real deal. There is a reason why
Rachel Maddow is good friends with him. Maybe he’s too passionate for you. He's passionate to Rachel?? :naughty:
Too much of a rabble rouser. He has integrity. Well, that’s exactly what made MSNBC such a great and unique place to visit every day for me. He cares about the little guy and shines a bright light through the baloney being promoted by politicians and supported by our corporate masters.

Then again, maybe that’s it. After all, GE is the owner and corporate master
of MSNBC. I guess Ed went too far for some stuffed shirt in the ivory tower.
What was I thinking? First you kick out Keith Olbermann, and now Ed Schultz. BOOTED!!1!11

Makes perfect sense. NOT! Makes perfect sense, YES!

Don’t think people aren’t aware of what you’re up to. I’m very sad to say that the MSNBC constellation just lost its biggest star and 90% of its luster.

Sign me,
Disgusted, once again. Discusting is a better word.

...... If they put either one of those two in his place. Ed got pushed aside cause MSNBC is looking to attract the younger audience.
They will keep Matthews till he either retires or dies.... or gets BOOTED!!1!
Maybe rsmithnumbers can write Shultzy a resume.  :loser:

I guess that is one viewer msnbc just lost. Seeing how hardly no one watches it now that could be a big hit to their ratings.

Newsflash, DUmmies--Ed Schultz is not champion of "Unions and working class" because they're mutually exclusive.

Don't believe me?  Try joining a union and not paying dues.

Unions exist for one reason, and one reason alone--POWER, and certainly not that of the worker.

If there were a standard picture to define "beta-male" it would look just like Chris Hayes.

If anyone that paid attention to TV ratings concerning time slots would know that anytime a move like this is made its to basically let a show die on the vine. Unless the show is DVR'd then it's most likely that it won't be seen by anyone. Saturday night TV hasn't been that great for TV shows for years time slot wise. With Cable and then Satellite TV added the chances of a TV getting big ratings are the same as winning the Powerball . Saturdays are when a good chunk of the populace are out doing things for one reason or another.

I crap bigger than the Hateful Commie Ed's show's ratings.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Look at this guy.  Wouldn't you demand to be paid to watch that?  Extremely unpleasant to look at, with a voice to match.
It's Saturday afternoon that he's moving to.  A time when most people are doing something, anything else.
