44. I remember being in Houston, maybe 1971

I was on leave and hanging out with some friends at a high-end apartment complex on Westheimer, in Houston.

Westheimer and Voss.

There were these sickeningly frat-types who were trolling for "hippie chicks", saying that UN Ambassador's son was hanging, telling those girls that they had more reefer, coke and acid than they could handle.

I was hanging out with this beautiful Mexican woman named Gloria. She went over to those idiots and said that she would check it out.

She told me that W was ensconced in an apartment, hanging out in some harem tent like Ahab the Arab. She said it was probably the most ridiculous thing she had ever seen. And, this woman had been around the block a few dozen times.

W was a ****ing really bad joke.

And, unfortunately, the joke was on us.

5. Are you from Texas, Jeff?

I swear, reading your stuff in past chapters - especially regarding the area around Houston - makes me think that you have spent some time in the Great State.

KnR'd, by the way.

I am loving this stuff.

I remember being home on leave in maybe '71, and going to some apartment complex on Westheimer, near Hillcroft. There was a bunch of louts hanging around the pool, trying to pick up chicks. They were saying that these girls had a cool opportunity to party with Congressman Bush's son.

Then they tried to hustle some women who were with us.

End of party.

There are just tons and tons of coincidents concerning the CounterfitDollarBill and TiT.

In 1971 both were on leave in Houston at an apartment complex on Westheimer and W was there. I wonder if TiT and Bill met each other?

Dollar Bill Hines is full of bovine feces,

First, The Apartments were the Woodlake Square Apartments, far from high end and were roach traps at best. I lived there for six months until the initial lease ran out. If the apartments were so high end, explain why the ENTIRE complex went up in smoke in one of Houston's biggest fires ever? Imagine four blocks square being condoned off by Firemen hosing down the houses OUTSIDE the perimeter to keep the ash and sparks from igniting those houses.

Second, the Apartments attracted college students just starting careers. You established your bearings and moved up and out as quickly as possible.

Third, GW visited his parents at the Houstonian, where they had residences and cottages available to family and friends. GW was living in Austin and Dallas at that time.
GW had the money and a GM, he would have not been caught living in those roach coaches.

How do I know about GW?.......he stiffed me on filling his car up in Austin, Texas. He filled the car up, came in to pay, said he left his wallet in the car, got back in the car and drove away. The owner, told me who he was, and since he wrote down license plate numbers, traced the plates to Dallas, he sent the bill to the address and
received a check from Zapata Oil with George Sr apologies and told him if it happened again, let him know. GW grew up. I credit Laura for that.

but Dollar Bill Hines is full of bovine droppings.

It appears there are a few more of us in the Houston area.
Perhaps "dollarBill" should be demoted to "DimeBill". If even that.

He's too stupid to know how to spell condominium...so he gave the low information voter version.

Took me all of two minutes to shoot down DBH/TiT's fairy tale.

Bush 41 wasn't in either house of Congress in 1971.  He lost the race for the senate to Congressman Lloyd Bentsen in 1970.  Poppy Bush gave up his house seat to run for the senate.

In 1971 he was Nixon's Ambassador to the U.N.

Westheimer and Voss.

Then you weren't anywhere near where W's apartment was...you missed it by 3 miles.  Chateaux Dijon Apartments (still there and using the fact 43 lived there as a selling point) are on Beverly Hill Street down by the Galleria.

DBH/TiT's location is a shopping plaza.  He was probably there panhandling.

That's way too close for simple coincidence.  I thinks it's nailed.  Same person.
