Former Ambassador of Panama to the OAS: "Hugo Chavez is dead"
« on: February 27, 2013, 07:29:55 PM »
Guillermo Cochez, Panamanian politician, says the president of Venezuela died four days ago.

Contact with CNN Chile's former ambassador said that since last December 30 President Chavez declared brain dead in Cuba, with which he returned to Venezuela in that state, and therefore it could not be visited by the various leaders who have visited, questioned and denied as the last picture that was published between Chavez and his daughters.

Some good news for a change.  Obama will order flags half mast.

How could this happen?  Didn't he get all that great medical care in Cuba?

He flew back to Venezuela on the 19th and no one has seen him since.

And another tyrant Castro is outliving. I like to compare the longevity of tyrants to other tyrants. Its a sick hobby.

Sorry, but I've heard of the premature demise of too many tyrants.

Best to see his corpse first, then I'll celebrate.

Your right.  I think there were 3 different death watches for Castro and he's still kicking.

Kinda funny that the first operation was done by a quack in Cuba that operated on the wrong party of his body. Then a second doctor from Spain had to fix the flub up. After that I do not know who butchered him. An equivalent health care system coming to you in the future. Thanks to Obamacare.

13. It's a sad day for those of us on the left.

Chavez fought for a better Venezuela, with socialism and social justice--and anti-imperialism. I hope the Bolivarian revolution survives him and improves upon his legacy.

20. So sad.

He fought so hard. My heart goes out to his family and all the people of Venezuela who loved him, and whose lives he changed so much.

RIP Mr. Chavez.

I think it best if they joined him.

If Chavez thought he smelled sulfur and brimstone at the UN, he's getting a real good whiff of it now.

I don't think he's noticing at the moment, for the virgin pineapple being rammed between those beefy ham hocks of his about now.

Hugo Chavez was a leader that understood the needs of the poor. He was committed to empowering the powerless. R.I.P. Mr. President.
He's a Democrat of course.

Good question, but since it's been awhile, I think they would have said he was dead by now.
