Unless they join his sorry ass in Hell, I could care less.
"We make men without chests and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and then bid the geldings to be fruitful."

C.S. Lewis

A community may possess all the necessary moral qualifications, in so high a degree, as to be capable of self-government under the most adverse circumstances; while, on the other hand, another may be so sunk in ignorance and vice, as to be incapable of forming a conception of liberty, or of living, even when most favored by circumstances, under any other than an absolute and despotic government.

I referred to this thread in the other thread about Hugo's alleged death, but decided this warranted its own thread.

36. My understanding, reading translations, is that the former ambassador

says Chavez was declared "brain dead" on December 30 and that he was removed from ventilation four days ago.

Morningfog says that Chavez was declared brain dead on December 30th, but doesn't tell us in what year.

So is Castro some sort of robot or something?

Nature abhors a Marxist and yet that guy keeps going and going.

I wouldn't be surprised if he has been dead/braindead since sometime last year.  After all, he never showed up for his inauguration.

Raul Castro recently announced that he will retire after serving his current 5 year term in 2018.  That leaves Obama two years to campaign in Cuba after leaving office here.

Actually, the oblate spheroid "watched" the Kremlin as much as she watched a hockey game between Burundi and Paraguay.

There were of course "Kremlin watchers"--I remember them well--but unlike what the short fat bitch says, while yes, sometimes a cold was seen as pneumonia.....there were plenty of other times pneumonia was seen as a cold.

Kremlin watchers got things wrong much of the time, but one's rather more impressed that they got so many right.

It was fascinating, growing up watching the Kremlin watchers.

This coming from Caracas
Mr Maduro stressed that a tracheal tube does not prevent Mr Chavez "from communicating and giving orders on all aspects of the economic, social and political life of our country".

That statement alone from the Veep of Venezueala is laugh worthy.

Anybody who knows anything about tracheal tubes...that go through the vocal cords...

You don't want to be a patient on nutcase nadin's Tijuana taxi ambulance if you need a tracheotomy.

When you do the procedure with a Bowie knife there's considerable collateral damage.
