SACRAMENTO — Thousands of paroled child molesters, rapists and other high-risk sex offenders in California are removing or disarming their court-ordered GPS tracking devices — and some have been charged with new crimes including sexual battery, kidnapping and attempted manslaughter.

Not surprised it is in California. What a trainwreck!   

I have a better solution. Just keep them in over crowded prisons and forget about them.

When I was a cop in DC I would run into people in their early 20s who had rape convictions, running free on the streets, usually as a suspect in another crime. I felt like the sentences, as issued, were already too light. Then these monsters get out after serving half of their time or less. It's an offense to civilized society, not to mention the original victims.

Just think of the democrat lawyers and judges that would be unemployed if they were in prison where they belong......not to mention the damage done to democrat campaign contributions from said lawyers.

I have no direct experience with them, but a violent offender removing one should be a serious felony, and they should immediately flash a signal if removed or opened which should become an alert requiring a BOLO and response to the address.
