pie-and-jam primitive eludes her guardians again

Oh my.

The pie-and-jam primitive, the "grasswire" primitive, took the chance to be on the computer when her handlers weren't watching her.  Her relatives are concerned about her hanging around Skins's island because it doesn't make the old lady look good.

Need some help getting rid of a Wedgewood range

My house came with a 30s (?) Wedgewood gas range. Here's a terrible photo:

after which a photograph of a darkened kitchen

It works.

I know these are collectible and it's worth a few dollars ... but I can't find the model number and I'm not sure where to advertise it.

Any hints about where the model number might be located? Craig's List a good place to sell it?

2. how very very cool

I'm sure many people would love to have that stove.

Good luck! It's a beauty.

4. This is what I replaced it with:

5. beautiful

Question: do you worry about grease spots on the brick? Or is it sealed somehow?

6. No - I want them to get dirty and aged

Long story, but the original brick wall (which I LOVED) had to be replaced and I'm hoping this one gets 'aged.' Upside to the new wall is I have more counter space (the Aga is 37" wide; a weird size).

Since she lives in an abandoned bodega, poor addled grasswipe, like poor stupid Beth, is limited to cooking on one of those little foldup Coleman propane camping stoves.

She'd love to have that old junk kitchen stove. But there's no gas service in the abandoned bodega.

Words that all primitives strive to live by.  Judging from the photos of primitives, soap is a dirty word in their homes.

I'm concerned because one of these days, her guardians--children, grandchildren--are going to find out she's still making herself look bad, hanging around Skins's island, and they're going to take the keys away from the computer.

It's too bad, because the pie-and-jam primitive's a high-quality "product" for the DUmpster, but real life trumps the internet.  One'd dislike seeing her evaporate, but her guardians know best.

By the way, there's been a whole lot of other primitives missing in action this week--or at least I haven't seen them--the most-recent one being Dennis the Menace.   And still absent are the LynneSin primitive, the Las Vegas Leviathan, and Pamela.

<<<dislikes it when high-quality products aren't replenished.

Pam and the whale may be dead. When he opens his credit card statement, lunatic Dennis the Menace may kill himself.

They're all favorites in the 2013 DUmp dead pool.

When did he start his spree?  Assuming a 30-day billing cycle, we might be able to pin down when to expect his posting to cease.

The spree started months and months ago - maybe two manic cycles ago.

But as loony as Dennis the Menace is, he was still conscious of what a financial catastrophe he was bringing down upon himself.

(Dennis is a professionally diagnosed lunatic.)

He's not exactly a Dave Ramsey clone, so his solution to the problem was to keep sending checks to his credit cards' addresses, but to stop actually opening the statements.

A few months ago, he screwed up the courage to open one month's statements. He was astounded how far he had gotten into five-digit territory, nearly six-digit, before his cards maxed out. His debt was somewhere around two years' gross income.

He must have some new cards, because he's still spending like crazy, but he's resumed not opening the statements.

Some folks here theorize this is all part of a grand strategy, that loony Dennis is angling for an involuntary commitment to an asylum just before bankruptcy, so he doesn't lose his stuff.

I tend to think he's just a hopeless nut, and when the credit spigot is turned off he'll take the pipe.
