The Atlas Society promotes open Objectivism: the philosophy of reason, achievement, individualism, and freedom.

Objectivism is the philosophy founded by Ayn Rand (1905–1982), the author of Atlas Shrugged, The Fountainhead, The Virtue of Selfishness, and other works. It is a philosophy of reason, individualism, respect for achievement, and freedom.

As the founders of open Objectivism we believe that the philosophy is a body of knowledge open to expansion and revision, through rational inquiry and open discussion and debate.

The Atlas Society works to "clear the air" and debunk common misconceptions about Rand and her works. Here are some myths about Ayn Rand and Objectivism.

Some individuals who embrace Objectivism; Rand Paul, Justice Clarence Thomas, Allen West, Gary Johnson, John Stossel, and Grover Norquist. Notice that they are not all Republicans

Thanks!

I have given away about a half-dozen copies of Atlas Shrugged in the past year. I sent one to a moonbat of my acquaintance in Texas and dared her to read it. I haven't spoken to her since I divorced myself from all moonbats in my life, so I don't know if she read it or not.

A good book on emotional relationships from an Objectivist perspective is The Selfish Path to Romance by Locke and Kenner.

The Virtue of Selfishness is on my shelf, too, right next the The Road to Serfdom and The Constitution of Liberty.

Government is the negation of liberty.
