I noticed it when posting today and it stayed for a few minutes then went back to normal.

A derivitave of the 80's software piracy scene. Originally "elite" was used to show status on a BBS. Commonly the people who cracked the software, or had sysop access on a board would be referred to as Elite. Later it became common to just use "leet." With the internet explosion it was later used to describe hackers as well as crackers. Yep, you're leet all right--congratulations on reaching 1334 posts!

That's what the software here does, although I have no idea why.

When one reaches that number, instead of "1334" showing up, "leet" does.

And then with the following post, it goes back to numbers.

Watch for any of the next ones up:

namvet 1321 posts (but hasn't been around since August 2011, so not likely)
LadyLiberty 1316 posts (but hasn't been around since March 2010, so not likely)
FlaGator 1291 posts (currently active)

While playing BF2 with my 2 sons at college I killed them both and laughed over Ventrillo "thats right I pwned you, I haz uberleet skilz". my youngest just said "no dad no. never say that again; it's just sad'.

I was in the Alpha and Beta test of BF3. That game sucks. They tried to make it too much like COD. That's what EA gets for dropping half the original Dev team that started it.

COD and BF3 have both bit the console bullet.

I have been playing CS:GO since it came out.

Until COD and BF3 realize there is still a huge market for us PC players, I am not sure they will get much more of my money.

I did have a couple hundred hours on BF3 but one of the big patches screwed that all up.
