New England residents

I will never understand my co New England residents. Snow, we get it!! If you don't like snow, driving in it or whatever, move to a warmer state!!It is amazing how many people call out of work, because they don't like driving in snow. The best way to overcome that fear is to face it head on. Leave a half an hour ealier, or whatever. Just take it slowly, and keep the speed consistent. I am a true New Englander thru and thru. I get up , look out my skylights, check temp on my computer and take action as needed. I don't stress out, it is not worth it. If mother nature is having a tantrum, i will go with the flow as needed.

I feel the same way about Florida residents. I don't complain if I'm sweating my huevos off. Its been pretty freaking sweet here lately. Its been cold and I love it.

That's how we feel, too. It used to be like that hereabouts, but we don't get any snow lately.

We had a beautiful snow fall here Saturday morning....giant flakes....just floating down for hours.....it didn't stick, melted as soon as it landed.....then the sun came out for awhile.

About dark Saturday the snow came again and this time it was coming down so fast you couldn't see 40' feet in front of you. Didn't last long, half hour at the most, but we got a couple of inches, enough to ice over the roads and make for a pretty Sunday morning. Some is still on the ground in shady spots.

Wife and her friend went to a late afternoon movie. The sun was shining when they went in and they came out to a snow storm..... :panic: time.....she made her friend drive the car because the wife is afraid of icy roads....it's a wonder they didn't call for me to come get them.
