I presume we are well past the dawning of the age of Aquarius, although whether we are still in it I don't know.
Given the life-span of such things, we're in the twilighting, near darkness, near the end, of the Age of Aquarius, which has been around for more than 30 years now, since the mid-1970s.
Things seem to last about a generation.
Since the mid-1970s, there isn't anything on the hippie agenda that hasn't been fulfilled, becoming either legal or at least socially acceptable.
All things come to an end.
Despite the way the elections of November 2008 are "looking" to some, I still think the mid-term elections of November 2006 were the last counter-revolt, the
Gotterdammerung, of the hippies.
Not being God, I have no idea what lays ahead, but it won't be an extension of the Age of Aquarius.
