Walking Dead Thread, 2013 Season
« on: February 11, 2013, 10:44:49 AM »
Hi fellow fans, here's a thread if you care to weigh in.

Last night:  First five minutes very riveting.

Now, I got so pissed off at one point.  That dumb blonde, whatever her name is, who hooked up with the governor.  Did you catch that one part, where some walkers are feeding off a live one in the colony?  She headshots the walkers, then stands there like a complete idiot with the half-eaten human guy still alive.  "Help me!"  Townspeople are saying "Do something!"  And SHE'S STANDING THERE LOOKING LIKE A HELPLESS STUPID BITCH.  I screamed at the TV.

Rick is going insane and he's heading for a cliff to destroy them all.  He's rejecting anyone strong, and with weapons.  Big mistake.  I'm starting to not like him much.

Yeah, Rick's losing it.  But frankly, nobody there is going to step up.  I would have let Glenn off Merle just for general principle.  Losing Daryl was NOT good for the group, especially after the "new arrivals" at the prison.

Next week oughta be interesting based on the previews.

He has to be convinced to let Mishown (sp?) stay.

Yeah his decisions are terrible right now. He's got some good solid newbies and with them they could have taken their chances with Merle. But I do agree Merle would likely divide the camp. Tyrese is a big character in the comic books I believe so I don't think he will be gone from the group for long. Tyrese is the large black man in the new group who is trying to find ways to build trust. He reminds me of Rick when they got to Hershel's farm but Rick is losing touch with what a good person looks and acts like.

The whole Rick thing will play out.  He will gain control and continue his leadership.  I do dislike how he has run other groups off, or killed them.

A funny happened this morning.

Last night, my husband had insomnia all night long.  So he went downstairs and passed the time watching Walking Dead episodes on the DVR.  All night.  I had no idea.

Early this morning I wander downstairs.  The kitchen door is closed, but I can see bright lights on in there.  I cannot bear bright lights first thing in the morning.

So, I open the door just a crack so my eyes don't get hit with the blazing light.  I snake my arm in and grope against the wall, feeling for the light switch to turn it off.  Husband is standing right there, frozen.  Can you get the visual?

All of a sudden he bellows, "JESUS CHRIST!!  WHAT THE ****!!!"
