Happy Friday Everyone!

What a nice morning! Nice days always seem to make for the start of a great weekend.

I am off to Vegas for breakfast! Last night I went for a swim and we had some out of town guests from Holland........what an honor to know that a family has chosen to spend a month here in our great nation!

What are you up to?

Are your kids bored yet being out of school? What are they doing to stay busy? Have you had to ground any of them for the summer yet?

Get my sailboat put back together:
  • New Keel Cable needs to be installed
  • Deck Hardware needs to be re-installed
  • New Nav Lights need to be installed (boat never had 'em)


Everything has to be buttoned up so that next weekend I can run "sea trials" on her so we can trailer her out to California for my wife's family reunion campout on the beach.

I just NOW got my cable and Internets installed. We've been in this new apartment for a week or so now, and they just now got to us because they've been backed up tremendously.

But other than that fun of waiting for the cable guy to show up I went and got my check, and had the fun of paying bills and buying groceries today. YAY!  :whatever:

Well, TOTD todays weekend is presently waiting for a buddy so show up, loading the grab'n'go boxes on the back of the truck and driving for about 4 hours west of town.

The plan is to test out my new gold detector and have a booze soaked weekend in a nice remote place.

I had a very good french dip on homemade bread.

A salad with homemade ranch that tasted so good, it must of been pure saturated fat....and I normally do not like ranch, but was encouraged to try it, and I liked it.

Got a call from a company looking for a Jr. DBA.  I have an interview on Tuesday.  Still haven't heard from the other two companies I've been trying to get hired with.  This * economy is so bad, the lady that did their DBA work left because her side job grew to the point where she can afford to do it full-time now.

Other than that, I am off to read and will hit the sack shortly.  Have to work a few hours of overtime tomorrow.

Wow, good luck with the interview and hopefully you also hear something back from the other places as well....

No one can say you are not trying that is for sure!

Take the overtime money and run!!!  Will you be able to get that boat in the water any time soon?
