Any iPhone owners in CC land that have done this?

The untethered jailbreak for iOS 6 was just released Monday and I went ahead and jailbroke it.  It was pretty simple and went well, Cydia seems to be running fine.  I have installed a couple tweaks and an app that got rid of the newsstand icon which I like because I'll never use it.  Also an app killer that zaps all the apps at once instead of one at a time.  

This is my first iPhone so needless to say I'm new to jailbreaking.  

There are literally tens of thousands of things that can be changed now to take full advantage of the software and I could probably spend a week on it and not scratch the surface.

Anyone have advice?  So far I have installed the following:

Activator
Barrel
Unfold
Kill Background
NoNewsIsGoodNews

I haven't had any problems yet.

I'm new to it, but from what I've read it sounds pretty safe.  There are a ton of people that do it and I don't think it would be that popular if users were experiencing a lot of issues. 

Just having barrel has already been totally worth it.

Sorry, I  don't have the iPhone 5 yet.  I jailbroke my iPhone 4 last year,  but then restored it because a certain app I use for work wasn't supported (at least that's the reason I remember).

BEG,  I thought the same thing.  I was worried it would void the warranty.  I think you just have to wipe it and reinstall the OS.  Someone correct me if I'm wrong please.

I think you are correct that you can simply wipe it if you have any issues.  Again, I am by no means an expert on jailbreaking, but my research indicates that it's really low risk.

The only other thing I remember is that you'll have to wait to upgrade Apple software until there's a jailbreak(broken?) version to  support it.  There are a lot of things you  can do with it. Too bad it wouldn't work with the program I need for work. That might be fixed  now though.

I think that's correct to an extent, If they're minor upgrades it doesn't seem to be an issue.  An example of that is the current jailbreak supports both 6.0 and 6.1.

Your statement appears to be true if it's a major update, say from iOS 5 to iOS 6.

Ah- good to know. I'll be upgrading soon.
