Is Christopher Dorner a perfect example of why we need gun control?

If Christopher Dorner is just an average guy who snapped, as some are making him out to be, does he make the case for gun control?

Are you serious?

Yeah because if it was illegal for him to have a gun he wouldn't have one. Just like it is illegal for him to kill people yet he didn't, oh wait, he ignored the murder laws.

I have nooz for you DUmmies, if guns had been banned he would have found a way to arm himself and go on his rampage. I hope like hell that some law abiding citizen with a gun puts a bullet between his eyes, that way we can politicization this just like you goons do.

Perfect example of why we need criminal control.
Punishing millions for the actions of a small number of people that need mental care is not the answer.
Poor crazy dennis would never have access to a firearm, in my book.
I really wish I knew how to approach the mental health issue.
Punishing normal, regular folks is not the way.

I've yet to read anything about this guy to indicate he was average. Nor do I have reason to believe "gun control" would have prevented him from getting a gun and going on a rampage. Gun bans don't seem to have helped the folks who live in Chicago.

Perfect example of why we need criminal control.

Awesome.

I think I'll start using that term, "criminal control."

That's what we need.

He could be bluffing, but if he does you are right it is illegal to own one.

Shoot and drops, are often seen.
I don't believe those are illegal.
Re-usables (B40, etc), probably not.
Not possitive on that.

Quote
CHEHALIS, Wash. - A homeowner shot and injured an intruder who broke into his home and refused to leave early Sunday, then held the man at gunpoint until sheriff's deputies could arrive at the scene.

Local law enforcement officials later determined the intruder was apparently high on methamphetamine at the time of the break-in, and the Lewis County sheriff said the homeowner had handled the "life-or-death situation" correctly.

The drama unfolded at about 4:45 a.m. Sunday when the 24-year-old homeowner heard someone talking just outside his home, in the 400 block of Highway 603 in Chehalis, as he was sleeping with his wife.

The homeowner called 911 then armed himself with a pistol while waiting for deputies to respond, said Chief Deputy Stacy Brown of the Lewis County Sheriff's Office.

As the homeowner was waiting, the intruder burst into the home and started down the hallway toward the homeowner, who was standing in front of his bedroom door to protect his wife.

The homeowner warned the intruder to stop, but the intruder charged at the homeowner instead, Brown said.

The homeowner fired one shot, hitting the intruder. But the suspect kept coming and tackled the homeowner. The two fought and then the homeowner was able to break free, holding the intruder at gunpoint until deputies arrived about 20 minutes after receiving the 911 call.

I'd like to know which police or county sheriffs office in the US has officers/deputies that go around unarmed in a major city or even a small town. To my knowledge the cops are far better armed then most of us and they are calling for gun control? maybe if their mental screenings were better they wouldn't have this going on because he has gone over the edge and I'm not buying into the charges of racism from him. After the 60's ad the 70's and all the crap L.A. went through do you honestly believe the city would condone that going on not to mention how hard it would be to hide from I.A. or anyone else looking for it.
