The Grammys and Gun Control
« on: February 10, 2013, 12:50:51 PM »
Ok, it was blatantly obvious there was a clear gun control agenda during the Super Bowl, with Jennifer Hudson singing with the Sandy Hook kids chorus.  And I would certainly not expect the liberal left to miss a prime opportunity to push even more of their propaganda at tonight's liberal-packed Grammy awards.

So...to what extent will they go?  Without question, there will be at least one mention in someone's award speech.  Will they go out on a limb and trot out the kids chorus again?  Or a video montage of the victims set to music, like they do with the musicians that have died the passed year?

If the Grammy's really care they will not give any award to any rapper that has ever glorified violence in their music whatever they call it.

Does any one even watch the Grammys?

I'm betting all the high profile stars will have their own armed private security anyway.

1988 or 89.....Lip synchers extrordinaire "Milli Vannilli" cleaned up during the Grammys Shammys and Jethro Tull beat out Metallica (before Metallica started to suck) for best heavy metal group.

THAT is when I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt the Shammys have NOTHING to do with talent.

The hell with the Hollyweird hypocrites. All of them.

Does any one even watch the Grammys? Never have. Who (with any maturity) cares?

I'm betting all the high profile stars will have their own armed private security anyway. That is a sure-fire bet.

Does any one watch any of the hundreds of award shows they have now

That's what happens when everyone gets an award.

I won't complain about the CMAs though.  If those people want to waste their money in my town, I'm all for it.  I wasn't going downtown anyway.

I remember there was a big stink about using the phrase " And the winner is..."

I caught a blurb about it when it happened. Caryn Johnson (aka Whoopi Goldberg) was shown saying, "We won't say that anymore because we're ALL winners"

Bullshit. If someone beats you at something...football game or spelling bee, You. Are. A.  :loser:

That's why they all say, "And the (insert meaningless ego-boosting award nickname here) goes to...."

They're a bunch of insecure neurotic idiots.

All PC tripe.

Okay, why would I watch a show about music and musicians put on by a group that has never awarded one of their "regular" Grammys to people/groups including:

--Jimi Hendrix
--The Who
--Led Zepplin
--The Doors
--Queen
--Chuck Berry (never even nominated)
--Beach Boys
--Bob Marley
--The Grateful Dead

But Britney Spears, Milli Vanilli, and the Baha Men have them.  FML.

Grammy?

I thought you was dead! Croaked in 2005. Froze my ass off at your funeral. December in Michigan standing in a foot of snow.

No, don't bother coming back. Trust me - you wouldn't like how things have gotten to be.

The awards have become a joke long ago.  Anymore they are used for political statements and the proliferation of them for everything have watered down any meaning for them.
