End of an era

Within the next month, I'm pulling the striping and numbers of "Big Red".  So, I took a couple of pictures of it this morning. 

1978 Chevy Silverado.  I've had it since 1992.  It was my graduation gift from the old man, he'd had it since 1980.  Unless something happens, I'll always have it.  Just going back to the chrome instead of the current scheme.  I'll miss getting the thumbs up and the woots from bystanders as I ride by, but I'm not painting it that pea green color Jr.'s going with now.

I have a noisy mid 90's GMC Sierra that gets nods or the  :bird: depending what neighborhood I'm in. Just relating. Maybe I'll go take a picture of the old girl in a bit.
