Good for an all-day-smile.

When's the last time you actually bought the homeless a meal yourself?

What's the difference between a large pizza and the primitives?

A pizza can feed a family of four.

.

Because third world peasant labor is a good thing.

The guy that made the call paid for it. He said let me give you my credit card number, which they didn't show for obvious reasons.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

Okay, I was confused, because I couldn't hear the video, and closed captioning sucks.

Given the tenor of the primitive comments, I'd assumed they'd done something that left someone else holding the bag, which of course the primitives would find humorous.

Dunno. But way back when I managed a Bojangle's chicken joint, a homeless person or family on the road would occasionally come in and ask for some food. When I gave them something I would always pay for it out of my own pocket even though I didn't make that much. I didn't expect the owner to pick up the tab without them being asked. That would have been theft as far as I was concerned.

Notice the guy in the video didn't even reach for his own wallet when he offered to give them his CC number. He had no intention of paying for it himself even if the dupe didn't work.

The whole thing could be bullshit anyway, with the "phone call" just an act. The DUmmy replies though demonstrate their mentality.

I figured the CC wasn't much help.

The guy doing the prank is a well known prankster, Tom Mabe, he has messed with telemarketers and stuff like that in the past. From what I gather he was doing something nice for some homeless people and having some fun doing it. He was pranking the pizza parlor I think.

I think that the edited out him paying for it. My take was that they simply didn't show him paying with the card for obvious reasons.

I agree with your last line, and was editing my last post as you posted yours. Especially since the order taker came to the "free" decision mighty quickly.  :-)

Didn't these guys just impersonate police and defraud a business?

And they filmed it all.

I got the impression that the guy offered to pay but the pizza place gave it for free thinking that they were doing something nice for some cops out working in the cold.

I agree.  Freeper could very well be right, but the way the video portrayed it left you with the impression that the pizza place did it for free.  The primitives certainly would have viewed it that way, getting something for nothing.

Either way, they didn't explain it very well.
If the pizza place gave it for free, they should have said something.

I try and give the homeless my lunch while I am at work. I am in my service van of course and I see them with a sign that says "will work for food" So I pull over and tell them what a novel idea that is and that is exactly what I am doing now. Then I offer them my lunch bag I brought from home but they never want it? They ask for money? I don't get it?
"Liberalism is an essentially feminine, submissive world view. Perhaps a better adjective than feminine is infantile. It is the world view of men who do not have the moral toughness, the spiritual strength to stand up and do single combat with life, who cannot adjust to the reality that the world is not a huge, pink-and-blue, padded nursery in which the lions lie down with the lambs and everyone lives happily ever after."

I offered one of those guys with a "will work for food" sign a job and he never showed up.

Although one time I went through McD's for a breakfast sandwich and saw a young man going through the trash eating what people threw away....I bought him a sandwich....

We always had a lot of homeless around work (downtown L.A.), but I never gave them money.  They were drug addicts and needed to be in the hospital.
