poll: who's ahead in the race for top DUmmie of 2013?

Yeah, sure, it's early, like really early, the top primitives of 2012 having been awarded only three weeks ago.

But as WinOne4TheGipper pointed out, given their past records, the nadin-Tom (or Tom-nadin) rivalry could be epic, the biggest brawl ever in the top DUmmies contest, which has been around for eight years now.

True, there's 49 more weeks to go yet, and anything can happen, but as of right now, who seems to be ahead?

This reminds me of the real "Game of the Century," back in 1969, between Texas and Arkansas.

The Nebraska-Oklahoma game of 1971, the so-called "Game of the Century," was just so much media hype; Nebraska was supposed to win that game, and Nebraska did.  Ho-hum.

The Texas-Arkansas game of 1969 however was uncertain; one wondered what would happen when an irresistible force ran into an immovable object, and I guess we found out, 17-12, Texas.

This could be an awesome bout.

(I'm taking this poll now because it would be instructive for both competitors to know what they need to do--both nadin and Tom read the DUmpster--to come out on top 49 weeks hence.  It's never too early to get into training for the Big One.  But since they just lurk, they can't see the results of the poll.)

I'm disappointed that neither one has yet contacted me about managing them for the bout.

I mean, it's not like franksolich doesn't have credentials, managing primitives for top DUmmies.

In case anyone's forgotten, I managed the Die alte Sau from #19 top DUmmie of 2009 into #01 Top DUmmie of 2010.

And my management of the pie-and-jam primitive, grasswire, pulled her out of obscurity way up into #07 Top DUmmie of 2012, her first showing ever there.

This might be debatable, but I do believe I had at least something to do with the adroit sparkling old dude always managing to make it not into the top ten, but the top five, DUmmies, the past several years.  He's past his prime, but still, I managed.....

I think franksolich would be an excellent manager for either nadin or Tom.

It's always been a mystery to me, why the oblate spheroid married an American submarine skipper rather than a submarine skipper from the Mexican navy.

Now, to be fair and balanced, until either Tom or nadin selects franksolich to manage their campaign for top DUmmie of 2013, having given nadin a tip on how to bolster her performance, I'll give one to Tom.

The lying tits primitive was of age and wandering around the Great American Southwest during the late 1960s, and quite possibly ran into some, uh, interesting people out in the desert.

Tom could help his cause immeasurably by reciting some anecdotes about his experiences with the Charles Manson "family."

I think more details about her gun battles would help. Also, it wouldn't hurt to play up some of the disasters in which she's saved entire cities.
