Alternative ways to handle a cold

Alright, so I came down with a cold, and here are alternative ways I treat it.

I bought the well known herb echinacea, in capsules. This herb is known to stimulant the immune system. Some web sites will dispute this, but hogwash I say. In any case, it won't hurt.

I also bought green tea extract in capsule form. This is also supposed to benefit the immune system, and has other benefits too.

Drink plenty of orange juice. I have been drinking OJ like water. It can be spendy, but I think the vitamin c and fluids are worth it.

If you must try an over the counter remedy, try lozenges that are made to lessen duration and effects of colds. Some of these will be based on zinc. They are made like candy and in different flavors, you suck on them like candy.

Get plenty of sleep, more than normal. Avoid heavy foods. Eat hard boiled eggs. These are full of good stuff for your body. Sprinkle garlic salt on them. Garlic is basically a wonder drug of nature.

Just some suggestions for cold sufferers.

I bought sudafed for my snot filled cold but DUmmies probably can't buy it because they already bought too much to make meth. The pharmacy is on to them.

If the DUmmie wasn't such a wuss they would throw out the OJ and eat jalapenos.  More vitamin C in the jalapeno.

This brain-surgeon reminds me of an old Beverly Hillbillies Episode (yeah I can go old school) where Granny cured the common cold. Jedd said that it taste horrible, but once you drink the entire bucket you just keep drinking plenty of fluids, get some rest and in 7 to 10 days you'll feel as good as new.
