Marv you are dead on.  Children have always been the pawns of the extreme left and used as justification for more laws, rules and regulations, gun control you name it and at the same time they make great shields in a firefight and can be taught and told to do the bidding of evil men...

Their track record of hiding behind kids is the very reason "It's for the CHEEELDRUUUNNNN" has become such a relevant phrase for mocking them.

I am on OP duty late in the day, just outside Twin Bridges, Bong Song AO Vietnam, '67.  I am scanning the village for something to do when I see a what appears to be a kid, with a 105 mm projectile digging a hole on the dirt road.  In todays speak we would call this an IED.  Take an unexploded Arty round, did a verticle hole, plant it in the tire track of a dirt road and when the wheels drove over it BAM it kills folks.  I radio the Co and they swoop down on the road.  The kid was 5 years old, he could barely carry the 105 mm rd...

While its been around for 1000's of years its always a shock to see how far a extreme left wing commie will go...

I killed a kid, maybe ten or eleven years old when I was in Laos in'59. He tried to kill me with what appeared to be an old French grenade.

Damn. But you have to do what you have to do. If you could've gotten the adult who gave him the grenade and garroted the sumbitch, that might've been better.

Unfortunately, those who would hide behind or have children do their bidding in these matters are cowards who have convinced themselves of their own importance as a reason not to risk it.
