Why I can't vote for a democrat
« on: June 04, 2008, 02:35:16 PM »
I vote for candidates, not parties. For a long time I will no longer be able to vote for a Democrat. In 2000 the democrats lost the election to Bush, and for the next 8 years, they have torn this country apart to get back into the White House. They have turned their backs to our troops, and instead of Supporting our troops to victory, they have chosen to inspire the terrorists to kill our troops. It seems to me that democrats only love this country when they are running it. I will not reward democratic bad behavior with my vote.

Why I can't vote for a Democrat:

They're a Democrat.

I hear you. I am sometimes tempted to not reward GOP behavior as well, but I will because it is all critical to the troops who are deployed. I want the GOP to pull of the gloves and fight for this election as if everything depended on it... cuz it does!

Why I can't vote for a Democrat:

They're a Democrat.

In the past, if a Democrat like Zell Miller ran against a Republican like Lincoln Chafee I would vote for Zell Miller, now I'd have to hold my nose and vote for Chafee.

Without a doubt, Paladin. ...and I did. He was appointed by Roy Barnes after the death of a senator, Paul Coverdell, but I gladly pushed the button for him when he ran again. Roy Barnes was sorely disappointed by his selection and I was sorely jubilant.  :-)

He brought us the lottery and the Hope Grant.
