I don't think he was on a SEAL team.  He would have been 17 in 69, could not go to Vietnam till you were 18, so looks like he arrived in 70.  That said over the past few years I have met more Navy SEALs, Army/Marine Sniper and Special Forces people on the forums than I ever knew in 26 years of the military and I knew a Lot of folks and al lot in the SOCOM world, in fact General Richard Potter who I worked for, promoted me, he was the Delta Force founder, General Wayne Downing was my boss and SOCOM commander, I wrote many a paper and briefing for him.  I am not a SpecOps guy, my speciality was something else (IT), but my basic branch was Infantry and my last 10 years on active duty I worked at a MACOM 4 star command.

Yet the forms are FULL of these guys...and I make it one of my efforts to weed them out.

Wanna flush the guy?  If you went in the military in the 60's then you were assigned a service number.  Mine was US54761125, when it was given to me it was about 2 am at Ft Polk La only a few hours after I arrived after a trip on a Greydog Bus.  A BIG BLACK Drill Sgt told me my SN and told me I WOULD remember it, I did and most soldiers of that time frame received their SN by the same guy, a hulk of a man that would make Chuck Norris tremble.  I have never met a soldier that did not know his SN...After the 60's they went to SS #.

Snipers:  If they were Army, allow me to provide some insight.  Its a short school, about 2 weeks IIRC, most anyone can go and it does NOT produce a MOS (military Occupational speciality).  Most folks that flunk out due so from failing the camouflage test.  We believe we can teach ANYONE to be a expert shot, but its the effort it takes to get to the point you can take the shot, that is what washes out most folks.  Kinda like welding, for every 5 min you weld, you have about 55 min or prep and fab...

Sniper School is an ASI Producing course. Lasts 5 weeks now, and it is open to only 11, 18, and 19 series(cav doesn't get the ASI though). I only know of 2 guys who washed out due to shooting, and that was with the M107 and movers.

Target Detction and Stalks are the widomakers of that course. And account for 60-70 percent of the washouts. If you can't see the target, or get close to it without being seen, you are worthless.

DollarBillHines says that Monkee Michael Nesmith is his cousin:

Quote from: DollarBillHines

He is also my cousin

Great guy.

Mike Nesmith's cousin. Watched the Beatles on Ed Sullivan in Beaumont, Texas, with Lee Hazlewood, with whom he also smoked his first joint. Dated Owsley Stanley's niece. Knows Ashley Judd, who comes to the winery.

Unless he says something reasonable, which is unlikely, nothing will happen to DUmmy DBH.

His previous bannings, by Skimmer, were for violent anti-Semitism.

In DU3, Skimmer doesn't care what is posted.

He's retired, rolling in DUmmybucks, and leaves banning up to a panel of moles and moonbats.

The moonbats, by and large, are as violently anti-Semitic as Hollis Tom Wright.

The moles view TiT as a great asset in making democrats look crazy.

WOW, big changes, the ASI has always been there, but anyone any grade could and it was a short course...my guess is the ME wars have been a driver to get more folks in the course and thus narrowed the field to war-fighters, good on that IMO and I have always thought that it should have been integrated into basic or advanced training, if you are a warfighter then it should be a part of your skill set...That said we have far too many schools, which goes back to early thinking of only the basics at basic level and that advanced schooling was the way to go...maybe because at one time almost everyone that went in the Army was basic Infantry.  In those days a Infantry soldier was never guaranteed to ever serve in an Infantry assignment...anyhow I tried to fight some battles and lost and was not about to fall on my sword on it.  I am hoping that the severe budget restraints cause the Army to r-elook a lot of broken policies and aged ideas.  I doubt it, but I briefed at the GO level back in the early 90's that we could reduce our budget by as much as 20% and suffer no downgrades in manpower or material acquisitions...

Maybe Tom Wright is kind of like Jason Bourne, possessing multiple birth certificates, passports, etc., under multiple identities, with multiple dates of birth. Maybe this is how he can be 64 and 60 at the same time.
"When I went to get a new passport to replace my expired document a clerk at the Post Office noticed that my only I.D. was a Certificate of Birth and was not good enough documentation for a new Passport."

Unless the rules have changed you only need you passport, even if expired to get a new one, I think the guy is making up stories as he goes along...

Has anyone seen anything else of note from DollarBillHines lately?

Also, if DollarBillHines was 60 years old--not 62 or 63, but 60--in late December of 2012, which means he was born in 1952, how does that square with his being TomInTib?  TomInTib's birthday is October 14--of what year? TIT claimed to have done acid every day of 1968. He claimed to have been on a Navy SEAL team in Vietnam, '69-'72 ("I am the 2nd-most-decorated enlisted man in the history of the US Navy."). And didn't he hang out with famous people and go on some sort of cross-country motorcycle journey in the 1960s? Etc.

Isn't 60 a little young to have been doing all those things in the 1960s? I am turning 60 in March. I didn't even graduate high school until 1970, and I was the youngest one in my class; most of my classmates were born in 1952. At our young age in the 1960s, neither I nor my classmates were doing anything like what Tom says he was doing then.

Are DBH and TIT the same person, i.e., Tom Wright? It seemed clear to me that they are. Is DBH lying about his age, i.e., he's not 60 but really in his mid-60s? Or what?

"Oh, what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive."

BTW, a random piece of information: On October 14, 2007, DUmmie ellaydubya said, "Tom is an old friend, the father of my sons, and my husband (legally)." Since then, though, Tom of course has moved on to greener pastures. His "GF" now, in whose house in Sonoma he lives, is a very wealthy woman who does marketing for the wine industry.

The first rule of primitivity: "DUmmies lie; all the time, DUmmies lie."

There had been similar puzzlement over the lying tits primitive's friend, the late Chief S itting Bull, the bird-smacking stoned red-faced primitive "Redstone," who alleged himself to have performed all these selfless heroic acts during the Vietnam War.

His obituary in the newspapers in November 2011 claimed he'd been born in.....1954.

I'm betting the lying tits primitive was born in 1948, if not a year earlier.

Oh its a guarantee that DBH is TiT - and ill prove it now.

"Dollar Bill Hines" is the title of a previously unreleased track written by Texas Musician Eric Taylor.

Back in 2008, TiT Posted this thread --  http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x3237766

WHOSE GOD?

WHOSE GOD?
When the boatmen stole the Africans
Did your God ride or row?
When they roped them and they shackled them
Was He with them in the hold?
Was the ocean moon so beautiful
That it brought Him to his knees?
What did your God see?

When she prayed out loud in Cherokee
Was that your God by the fire?
When she swayed up there in the sweetgum tree
Was he hanging up there beside her?
Did He bless the silver rivers?
Did He fix himself a drink?
What did your God see?

If I sing Hallelujah, will He hold my hand?
Can we dance among the blessed and the damned?
When the Glory Train is movin' on to Beulah Land
Can I ride as far as Andilar and come on back to town?

Did your God ride the bullet
To the old Lorraine Motel?
Is it the blood of the lamb, or is it another man down?
Did He catch him as he fell?
Did He calm the waters?
Did His heart just freeze?
What did your God see?

Did your God ride the backroads
On a Texas summer night?
Did He stand there in the pine grove
As they drug him out of sight?
Did He stand for the last communion?
Did he kneel to wash his feet?
What did your God see?

If I sing Hallelujah, will He hold my hand?
Can we dance among the blessed and the damned?
When the Glory Train is movin' on to Beulah Land
Can I ride as far as Andilar and come on back to town?

and, it went badly for him -

27. So Tom...are you Eric Taylor?
Or a plagiarist?

You have to be the Author because I find it difficult to believe anyone would post lyrics to a recorded and published song, claiming to be the author, when the truth is so readily available.

Cool! We have a recorded musician in our midst!

Or, we have a plagiarist.

TiT is obsessed with Eric Taylor - only TiT would use the title of a previously unreleased Taylor track as his 'new' handle.  Q.E.D.

Much about our friend here in this thread started by "Sonoman" on Mon Jun-13-11 08:18 PM:

From his OP:

My DL and passport both list a fictitious address (a trick I learned from a long-gone DUer), all my bills arrive under someone else's name, my vehicles are listed under different business entities, etc. I paid cash for my house. I have always covered my tracks, until now. I am, basically, invisible.

I recently renewed my subscription to Texas Monthly and used my home address to insure proper delivery. That is the only time I have ever used my real name and current (long-term) address in the same instance.

From Reply #4:

My family was the first Anglo clan to inhabit land west of the Sabine and south of the Red River in what is now Angelina County (1630).

Sy Kopath asks, #15:

Are you related to the late great Tom in Tib who used to post here? I would swear he said it was his family who was the first Anglo family to inhabit that county.

And one or two others caught on to the TomInTib similarity, as well.

Sonoman, #27:

Thousands of people have my 'name'.

That's why I picked it when I had it legally changed, a long time ago.

Sonoman

I think he hides in plain sight - by claiming his genuine name/address etc. are fabricated. The closest he seems to come to adopting a pseudonym, is by using his middle name as his first.

Yet we have seen what looks like conclusive proof that DBH and TIT are one and the same person, namely, Tom Wright, formerly of Tiburon, now of Sonoma, California. Is Tom (who had claimed to look four years younger than he is) lying about his age now, so as to impress or hold on to his very wealthy GF, who is about 59 or 60 herself?

Oh yes, they are all the same person, who is a pathological liar. I think he's back in Texas after reading this:

Quote
Hollis Thomas Wright was born in 1952. Hollis currently lives in Richardson, Texas. Before that, Hollis lived in Dallas, TX in 2001. Before that, Hollis lived in Belvedere Tiburon, CA from 2008 to 2009.

Hollis Thomas Wright is related to Lee Wright, who is 59 years old and lives in Richardson, TX. Hollis Thomas Wright is also related to William Wright, who is 30 years old and lives in Dallas, TX.

there's another son as well, he was named in Hollis' dad's obit that's still online.

TomInTib was banned.
Sonoman was banned for being previously banned.
What will happen to DollarBillHines?

I did Polk, Too. Even the bus.  Your s/n was a surprise.  We only had two draftees in our entire company. Six of us were RA's and the rest, NG's and ER's.
I think it was about 2 am for me, too.  :lmao:

Of course he wasn't on a Seal Team. We haven't even established whether he was even in the military. But he SAYS he did. He served with Seal Team 6 (evidently at the time they were so secret even THEY didn't know they existed). His adventures were myriad & dangerous...naturally. Of course all were in places easily located on google maps, so there's that.
