Gawd, what a day. Just spent four plus hours in the Emergency Room...

I'd gone to the hospital to register for my shoulder surgery next week. All was well and done, and I was on my way home, when my foot stuck to the hard stone floor, and I fell face first.

I cut my upper lip, and broke/lost several upper teeth. A bunch of people rescued me (if you're going to have an accident, the hospital is THE place to have it!) and I was whisked off to the ER.

Various X-rays and a CAT scan later, plus sutures in my lovely upper lip, I am now recovering at home...

Oh, and my dentist says all I require is capping for the teeth. And he's seen worse damage than mine!

Yuck.

I really hope the rest of you are doing much better than I am!

I don't want to see what she looks like now, she's hideous enough as it is.   :o

Hope you get better, Calpig...

A hard stone floor in a hospital?  WTF?

I wonder if union contractors will be hired to fix the floor where her face and Adam's Apple hit.

You never know, the face plant could be an improvement.  Either way can it really be any worse? :-)

Just wait until 0bamacare fully kicks in, they will give you a pain pill and send you home.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

Is she gonna sue the hospital?

You know she will.  Most favorite thing for the DUmmies to do is get other people's money.

Sadly, Calpeg - My muse - hasn't delivered me material to parody in months.

I hope you are correct, and she listens to that inspiration.

That's an awful lot of damage for a slip and fall.  Losing teeth?  That's more like car accident damage.  Or someone beating the shit out of her.

Or the whole hospital thing was a bouncy tale and she was actually in a drunken stupor just like a certain radio personality for Air America did a few years back.

Read a poem at the local biker bar.
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

Or she had her rest of her transition surgery and they actually did the facial part of her transition.

What's Bloomberg saying?

Emergency rooms in hospitals in New York City shouldn't give out more than three days of prescripton pain pharmaceuticals.
