Remember how we were supposed to slow down the 14 months "rush to war" against Saddam?

Remember how we were instructed to give sanctions time to work?

Remember how Michael Moore made Fahrenheit 911 showing scenes of smiliing Iraqi children?

Remember how we were told that McCain singing "Bomb, Bomb, Bomb Iran" should a callous disregard for the horrors of war?

Remember how we were supposed to look at the slaughter of 3,000 of our family, friends, neighbors and countrymen as a moment to examine our souls as to what we had down to provoke such violence?

Remember how they told us The Surge had no chance against a few thousand insurgents armed with rifles and cellphones so we mighgt as well just admit defeat and concede the empire had died?


These are not Americans; their birth be damned. They have no love for America or its institutions. Any who do love America they declare to be an enemy. Any who seek to do this nation harm they consider a friend.

No, out of 80 million gun owners in this nation, I doubt all of them would be so compliant.  Even if 10 percent resisted, that number would far outweigh the number of AD, Reservists, Guardsmen, and local/state/federal LEO's...hell, consider how many of those cops/military would consider what they've been given an illegal order and simply refuse to comply.  Consider how many of them would be subject to such an edict and decide, "**** that!"

It's just so weird.  If we had a Republican president and someone over there brought up the part about drones killing American citizens they would have been all   :panic: and how horrible the president's power is.  Just weird!  :mental:

Maybe so, but I find it almost humorous that these assclowns think that if government takes away our guns, which they fully support, somehow the other rights enumerated in the Bill of Rights, et al, will somehow remain unmolested.
