A Democrat Discussion Of Firearms
« on: January 07, 2013, 10:21:21 AM »
This DUmp thread serves as a good example of how knowledgeable democrats are about firearms.

No one can possibly believe that great minds like Plugs Biden and Sheila Jackson Lee, who will be debating and voting on the jug-eared Kenyan's legislation, have any better understanding than these nameless, faceless, useless DUmp unterprimitiven:

Are semi-automatics really used for hunting?
Doesn't the spray of bullets destroy the target, including the hide and the meat?

Is it a "sport" when you use a semi? Isn't it akin to shooting fish in a barrel?

56. And?

You insisted we all need to learn about guns, as though there was some virtue in spending one's days thinking about and practicing how to kill. We do not need to know about guns. I explained quite clearly why. If a person plans on hunting, obviously they need to choose the right riffle. The authors of legislation need to know which guns to ban.
Hmmmm....

Bullshit. You ask about ways to restrict violence and then respond by showing you have No interest in doing anything. All meaningful research is funded by the govt. It's the same research that has produced the internet, pace makers, and advanced prosthetics. I happen to know a great deal about federally funded research since I make my living from it. So-called biased research ( what a sophomoric concept) does not make it beyond the rigorous review standards to qualify for federal funding. That you defend that kind of restriction on free speech and public health studies is thoroughly repulsive.

Private gun sales are not subject to background checks because gun companies profit from Selling guns to criminals. You see for no need to change that. Even 70% of NRA members want that changed, but you are to the right of them. The NRA restricts the enforcement of law, prohibits tracking of guns, and restricts the first amendment. The more you write, the weaker your argument gets. Keep it up and no one is going to give a **** about your right to bear arms. No one is more effective at demonstrating the need for dramatic gun control than you and your fellow gungeoneers. You people have done more to pierce the fallacy of concerned and law abiding gun owners than even the mass murder of children. If you lent yourselves out to the Brady campaign, the nation would quickly rally to support dramatic and comprehensive gun control. Enough of your bullshit. Consider yourself my mortal enemy.
Pulled this from the same thread. So much ignorance in this one post alone but I just bolded the one I thought was the most ignorant.

How do gun companies profit from selling to people who by law cannot by their products? How are their products marketed for the "illegal" consumer?

Wow, I can just order one of those bullet-spraying semi-automatic rifffles from a Gun Company with no paperwork?!!?  What a fool.  This retard obviously doesn't even know what the term 'Private sale' means, if it did, the DUmmie would realized that gun manufacturers are about as fond of private sales as car manufacturers are of good used cars.

You can buy them books and buy them books but all they're going to do is eat the covers off them.

I always wondered what that saying meant ... then I saw this thread.

DUmmies have no idea and should never be allowed to own a firearm, of any kind.

For most of the DUmmies, if their rap sheets don't prevent them from buying a gun legally, then that whole "adjudicated mentally defective" clause is a useful catch-all disqualifier.

Spray of bullets.

I thought about making up a little story about it being just a thinly-disguised Nazi secret weapon marketed to unsuspecting civilians, along with making up a cool German name for it like Kugelspritzgewehr or Sturmspritzer ('Bullet-spraying gun' or 'Assault sprayer'), but then I realized one of the DU halfwits that lurk here would probably take it as true and spread it all over place, which other idiots-at-large might actually believe and react to.

I cheat, I have a small text file on my desktop with the common German and Spanish special characters in it and when I want to use one, I just pull up the window and c&p the letter into my post.  I probably ought to add some French ones to it for place names, but I know less than a dozen common French phrases, and make no pretension of being able to speak it at all.

When you have people who know nothing about guns except for what they see in movies trying to make gun laws it ain't gonna go well.

I read earlier today that Obama may try to use ObamaCare tactics on gun control legislation. He will go after the "gun show" loophole by getting the Gun manufacturers on his side, since they don't make money on those sales.  He fails to realize that most of those guns come from manufacturers not private gunsmiths.
