I Took My "Obama/Biden 2012" Bumper Sticker Off My Beetle Today
...and replaced it with my brand new "I  Obamacare" sticker.

6. I have a funny story about that.

My son just started driving. Last fall, I noticed that a hole had been punched in the front bumper passenger side on my Beetle. It looked like someone had hit it and pushed the plastic over into a bunch. My son is going to the local community college, so it could have been him or some other college kid who caused what I assume to be parking lot damage (he didn't confess to it, and he's fairly honest about such things).

I cut off the bunched-up plastic on the bumper which created a hole. When my Obama/Biden sticker came, I decided to put it over the hole, but to do that, I first had to cover the hole with duct tape. I did that, then put the sticker on. It looked great!

So when I went to remove the Obama/Bidensticker, it was no problem as I was pulling it off duct tape, not off the bumper.

I sort of like the idea that my new Obamacare sticker is covering up a hole in my "ailing" car bumper.

It takes a piece-of-shit car combined with a piece-of-shit mind to put an adhesive sticker on an automobile.

It's just a little less stupid than a neck tattoo.

I'm going to have to agree for the most part. I hate bumper stickers and the like. The only sticker that'll ever get near my cars are the registration ones.

Same here.

The only bumper sticker I had on one of my vehicles was one on my truck that said "He Who Dies With The Most Toys, STILL DIES!"  It left when I replaced the rear bumper.

I laugh at these POS cars covered in stickers at a gas station.  The driver may as well have a 3ft. x 4ft. flashing neon sign on their roof that reads "Hey, I'm a DUmbass!"   :lmao:

I've got one magnetic 'sticker' on the back of my RAV, and it advertises The Heiress' school.  I can take it off when it needs to be taken off (such as in a car wash).  Nothing on the back of my wife's car.

The bumper on your son's vehicle has a safety purpose.   If it was damaged the purpose is no longer working.   He gets rear-ended in an accident and there is no longer any absorption capability in that bumper to protect him from serious injury.

But he has Obamacare now, so it's all good right?

To bad it's not the one under S/H/Its nose.  :p
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

I Obamacare.  I care so much that I'm going to force you to spend thousands of dollars that you don't have, to buy something from a corporation that Kathleen Sebelius approves of.  I truly care, let me give you a big hug (so I can pick your pocket).

Save your Obama stickers DUmmies......you'll either need them to cover bullet wounds or to boil down for soup to eat.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin
