Can you blame them Johnny, men get use to hair from their mustashes between their teeth but woman are another breed.
I hate Carpets, the home I have had for 18+ years has W/W in all but the bathrooms and kitchen. I hate this and the floors else where in the house.
The carpets take up all the smells of the kitchen cooking, smoking and the wood fireplace. I would love Wood floors except around the sinks and half the bath, tile by the doors as the carpet gets wet from snow and rain.
18 years of puppy's peeing in unseen corners, Human baby's with an over flow diaper, all the times I set off the smoke alarm cooking, visitors using all kinds of scent, spilt drinks and food by the youngsters. The freaking hair from long haired cats, the carpet is a Pietra dish for every germ known to man, What do we carry in on the bottoms of our shoes every day ??
One thing I remember from childhood was people taking area rugs out in the spring, beating the heck out of them allowing them to stay outside in the spring breeze and even when it rained.
Was it a coincidence that only when I became an adult I began to run into people with odd allergies that came out of the blue, or manufactures began to use formaldehyde in carperting and drapes ????
