Most states are red or blue. A few are purple. After the November election, New Hampshire turned pink.

Women won the state’s two Congressional seats. Women already held the state’s two Senate seats. When they are all sworn into office on Thursday, New Hampshire will become the first state in the nation’s history to send an all-female delegation to Washington.

And the matriarchy does not end there. New Hampshire’s new governor is a woman. So are the speaker of the State House and the chief justice of the State Supreme Court.

That deserves a trophy of course, Chris_.  

Look at the OP assuming just because they're female, they must be democrat.  It never even occured to her otherwise.  She probably assumed that Pelosi would not pose with repukes.  

They are simply unable to think outside the box of categorizing each person into a group.  When that person doesn't quite *fit*, they have conniptions.  Seems to be both mentally deficient, and lazy.

It is indeed a shameful thing but the Republican party here in NH has been led by some very strange people in the last several years.  The last NH speaker was a former Massachusetts Lawyer!  Rather like buying your salsa from NY while in Texas.  :fuelfire:

With so many seats available, women have a better chance of being elected in New Hampshire than they have in many other states.

That's with a population of less than 2 million people.

By Comparison Texas State house is comprised of 175 members representing a population of about 26 million.

I do believe that is Eddie Bernice Johnson, Dallas TX.   I DID NOT VOTE FOR HER.  Not my district.  The cowboy hat lady looks like Sheila Jackson Lee, Houston, TX. I didn't vote for her either.
