I am never up at midnight anymore, so I doubt my body will stay up just because of a special day.  Plus anyway, I have a ton of stuff to do tomorrow, don't need to waste a day off with sleeping.

We were invited to the neighbors across the cul-de-sac for a new years eve party.  I didn't feel like going but told my husband I would.  It's weird though, the lights are out and no cars are in their driveway.  She sent out invitations and reminded my husband about it a couple of days ago.  Their christmas lights were on (no other lights) but now they are even off.  Her husband has MS so maybe something is wrong with him.  I sure hope nothing is wrong with him.   :(

I also have checked my email and my phone and no message (I play bunco with her so she has my cell).  Now I'm starting to wonder if she said New Years DAY.  I can't find her invitation and it is something I would do (forget the date).


I'm kind of glad (if nothing is wrong with her husband).  We went out this past saturday.  Ate, went to a show (Esther's Follies) and later a piano bar in down town Austin.  It was freezing, I didn't dress for the cold and we stayed out until 2:30am.  It was fun but it took me a day to get over it. 

OMG, I'm getting OLD!  :panic:

My Australian Cattle Dog is the same way. She hears a boom and goes off the deep end. Sits there and shakes so much the first time it happened I thought she was having a seizure. And her dumb ass will get in places that you could not believe a 50 pound dog could.
