Another significant paper shutting down in NH...the Nashua Telegraph is being dumped by the family as quickly as they can find a buyer. Now if they'd just do the same with Foster's.
I have been getting phone calls from of all places Boston to subscribe to their print edition.
Not Fosters, only way I can get any news on what is happening in my area. The PH has this habit of protecting the local law enforcement and the big wigs in town from any undesirable publicity. After 3 years we still have yet to hear of why the Union member for the Long Shoremans Union had his home shot up.
All this monkey business going on and I have to read about it in an out of town news paper.
That crime reporter that had the town Chief Of Police arrested for peeking in her windows at night, out side of the fact the chief resigned and wife left him, most info came from Fosters.
My favorite mystery was when a male found a packet of $30,000 in cash down by the water front. He took it home and spent some of it on friends etc. No one claimed the money for a time until one of the friends he spent money on rolled over to the cops on him.
Now he was arrested for taking the money, none of that finders are keepers stuff, and out of no where the paper says SOMEONE, NO NAMES GIVEN HAD CLAIMED THAT WAS THEIR MONEY.
Up shot was the finder went to jail, for what ever crime [ ? ] and no information on who, why, or when the so called owner happended to leave the packet just laying around.
Where is Nads when you need her a fearless Citizen reporter, one that can't be bribed or scared off the scent of a Big Story ?
