Another sad day for America. He was in the same mold as Patton and other great leaders. We are blessed to have had such a leader when the time came. RIP sir your duty has been done.

Hi,

I had the honor of meeting the good General at a Tampa barbershop and had a one-on-one with him for over an hour.  He was a true gentleman, straight shooter, and one you could certainly respect.  I always thought someday when the revolution comes he would be the one to come in and clean up the mess.

I heard he was ill and his death was not a surprise.  He will be missed. 

May he rest in peace!

I knew the Bear and worked for him, he made some decisions sometimes I did not like, but I I still liked him and he was most likely the LAST of our combat-rucksack, soldiers-soldier commanders.  I see the rest most a 'Green Zone Co's'.  Would have followed him anywhere...
