How the Fiscal Cliff Talks Stalled

The Wall Street Journal has a behind-the-scenes look at how the fiscal cliff negotiations faltered.

"Mr. Obama repeatedly lost patience with the speaker as negotiations faltered. In an Oval Office meeting last week, he told Mr. Boehner that if the sides didn't reach agreement, he would use his inaugural address and his State of the Union speech to tell the country the Republicans were at fault."

At one point, Boehner told the president, "I put $800 billion on the table. What do I get for that?"

Replied Obama: "You get nothing. I get that for free."

Obama voters (DUmmys in particular) are going to be the hardest hit in Obama's pedal to the metal drive over the fiscal cliff.  So we have that going for us.

You are correct jukin. It will be very entertaining to watch the dummies piss, moan and rend their garments about how the tax cuts for the eeevil rich suddenly result in their meager paychecks getting more meager.

It will be all the GOP's  fault of course.

They won't even see it coming, they're so stupid.  They think that it was something about a $300 check from Bush.  They think the cliff means no $300 check.  They don't seem to realize what is looming. 

At any rate, Obama sure is an asshole, isn't he?

He attacked the Supreme Court in an earlier State of the Union, and they're still doing okay.

Does any logical person need any more proof that obama is not a leader than this tactic?  All he has done since he has been in office is blame everyone rather than take any kind of responsibility and be the kind of leader that is fitting of the office of the President.  Since his re-election by the puddin-heads in this Nation, he has the "**** you, Im the king attitude". Rather than lead from the front and work with both sides to resolve this mess that the Nation is in, he jets off to Hawaii (at our expense)  to reconnect with his choom gang buddies and his main strategy when taxes rise for everyone is blame the Republicans.  He is neither a man nor a leader and history won't be very flattering of him years down the road.
