Big Tex is being rebuilt.  His new clothes go into production in June.  His new debut will be September 27, 2013.

I imagine it has changed.  That had to be around 1980 when I was there.

I got tired of traveling with race horses.  A new place every few days.  Hardly knew where I was when I'd get there, and breakfast and supper were tasting the same...  I knew how to tune pianos (kind of, because of a relative), so I took a few months off and tuned at the Kimball spinet plant until I caught up with myself again.  Pretty country and met a lot of nice people there.

Well that was random!   :thatsright:

Edited to add a photo of one of my favorite tracks (Churchill) this past November, since a) this is a photo thread, and, b) to somehow tie my random info in to... something.
