Rather than start looking for a job say, tomorrow morning. That's what I would do. But dare I say, I suspect I have a different work ethic.
My brother, the moonbat, lost his job last Christmas. He hasn't applied for a job yet. He is 51 years old, lives with my dad, my dad's wife and my 99 year old grandma (she had to move in with my dad when she could no longer be by herself at her farm).
He collected the maximum weeks of unemployment in NE plus a small severance from his last employment. His unemployment ended months ago. My grandma gave him $30 "just because" and he told my mom, "that will be another book at Half Price Books" (there is a great half price bookstore close to where I used to live and where my mom currently lives). He is coming for Christmas, actually he got in last night, and he goes there first thing. My mom got pissed and told him "YOU DON'T HAVE AN F'ING job, I don't think you should be blowing $30 on yet another book."
He replied, "Between my severance (which was a few weeks of pay) and my unemployment, I made more than I did last year." That is his logic, he has no job prospects, no savings, no retirement and bills coming out his ass but has bought a new Mac among other things since he has lost his job but has yet to even seriously look for a job. He would be living on the street if it weren't for my Dad.
I don't get moonbats, they are wired differently.
