Conservatives not buying Clinton concussion

By PATRICK GAVIN | 12/18/12 4:23 PM EST

The official story out of the State Department is that Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton recently fainted and suffered a concussion and is working from home. As a result, she is not expected to testify before Congress this week on the subject of the attack in Benghazi.

Message received, right? Not everyone is so convinced.

The New York Post called it “one of the most transparent dodges in the history of diplomacy.”

The Daily Caller’s Jim Treacher won’t believe it until he sees some proof. “If she has a concussion, let’s see the medical report. Let’s see some proof that she’s not just stonewalling. If it’s true, then we can all wish her a speedy recovery. But it’s ridiculous to expect us to take her word for it.”

Ditto Republican strategist Alice Stewart, who said on Fox News, “I certainly hope Hillary Clinton has a good note from her doctor.”

Also on Fox News, former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton said: “You know, every foreign service officer in every foreign ministry in the world knows the phrase I am about to use. When you don’t want to go to a meeting or conference, or an event, you have a ‘diplomatic illness.’ And this is a diplomatic illness to beat the band.”

5. She didn't faint at home or out of sight somewhere, did she?

Other people there witnessed it, andwere afraid something worse was wrong.

The conservative's reason for saying she's faking is because she was to appear before some congressional hearing and they think she's faking in illness sto get out of testifying. Sorry guys,m that's just Hillary. She may not be thrilled about testifying, but I've never seen Hillary hidwe or pull away from anything!

My wife is not really a conservative. She's somewhere in the middle. She's not buying Hillary's concussion story. As a matter of fact, her statement when I told her about it was 'they must really think people are stupid'.
“Don’t vote for the person who tells you you deserve something. Just don’t do it if it’s something other than life, liberty, or the pursuit of possible happiness. If everyone is telling you you deserve something, vote for the one who is promising you the least. Be suspicious of the man or woman who tell you deserve everything. Because you don’t.” ---Mike Rowe

The delusion and self-revised history is beyond the pale.  You would think that, at some point, you would look at the crap you are shoveling and......

pfffttt....what am I saying.

Never mind.

Remember how McCain was too old and frail to serve in the executive branch...

So!  Let's see.  We now have a VP that has had part of his brain removed, a Secretary of State that is brain damaged,  and a president that is drug-addled from his college days.

No wonder this country is going downhill at an accelerating pace.

Sorry but even if I was deathly ill I would make the biggest attempt at showing up at a hearing that is unless I was trying to hide something.  At least give our dead American's the respect they deserve.
