Brilliant! Really, if you weren't a pastor you could be a standup comic...of course not the kind who would be delusional enough to marry poor, stupid Beth. While my heart belongs to frank, I swear I have a crush on you...I would probably have to change denominations just to listen to you every Sunday if I lived near you! I really needed the laughter after how intense it's been the last couple of years. Thank you!

Growing up, I was a big fan of well-written comedy. And when I was in college, I did some call-in bits on the radio in Chicago. I did think about becoming a comedy writer. So doing the DUFUs scratches that itch.

Of course, I also thought about becoming the second baseman for the Chicago Cubs and then U.S. Senator from Illinois. (Just think, I could have blocked Obozo's career path!) But a shoulder injury put an end to the first dream, and a higher calling put an end to the second.

And that was my point in doing this DUFU. It's the old DUmmie DUbble Standard. They would say they oppose Scott because of his politics, not his race. But they do not grant us that same privilege when it comes to Obama. How many times have we heard them say, "The Republicans can't stand having a black man in the White House!" So I wanted to turn the tables on them.

It was to that I was referreing when I wrote in the DUFU:
