If a couple is wealthy enough for the mother to stay home, enjoy and bond with her children, GO FOR IT!!! Unfortunately, there are some women, who have child after child , after child, and not always the same father, then they get into this rut, They start askibg for government help, get free housing, food stamps, etc....
There are many stay at home mums, who are very productive, they do charity work, volunteer, classroom aids, tutoring, take classes themselves. Sometimes if their own children are young enough, they might take care of a few of their friend's children, as daycare can be expensive(my niece does this)
I am sorry if I offended anyone...
