For what it's worth, I'll analyze this DUmp and see how many fallacies I can pick up (will include original post and comments.)
When we're even on the way OUT of Afghanistan?
We'll be pulling out in 2014 officially. As of now we are not pulling troops out on a large scale.
When there's no longer ANY real threat to this country?
There are, and always will be threats to our nation. Look around, Mexican drug cartels are turning our Mexican border into a warzone, there was recently a radical Islamic terrorist cell that was caught trying to go to Turkey and then to Afghanistan to try and attack U.S embassies there, and there are also violent crime syndicates and gangs which range from petty criminals to extremely organized masterminds. Oh, and not to mention democrats and liberals who are trying to alter the rules they have to play by so they can push their esoteric agenda.
Can't our party, at least, leave the pin fetish to the 'pugs and admit that the country has moved on from 9/11?
Not a fallacy, but I'm seeing kind of a globalist and internationalist sentiment here. Hmm, I wonder who else has or had globalist and internationalist sentiment. Sounds familiar right?
It's time to stop tying ourselves to something that has always been an arrogant, spiteful right-wing way of saying "We're Americans and YOU aren't".
Completely wrong. The flag pins are not signs of spite or arrogance, it is shown to say you show allegiance to your country. Not to say we're Americans and you aren't even though the Blues show some of the most anti-nationalist and anti-traditionalist views America has seen.
4. When we stop calling our nation "The Homeland" and go back to "nation" or "country"
We do not call our nation "The Homeland", we call it our country. We are not ultra-nationalists akin to the far-rightists of Europe, even though I support some of their views I'm content with calling our country, well, our country.
3. Romney did NOT wear his flag pin today when he went to White House to lunch with Pres Obama
Well he isn't the President or a Presidential candidate anymore, remember? Derp.
1. "Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel."
2. "When fascism comes to America it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross."
Well, out of context quotes, where have I seen this before?

First of all, the first quote is by Samuel Jackson, who was from England. Patriotism is different in different countries. As for the second quote, we've been wrapped in the flag and carrying crosses for a long time, I don't think we're gonna be seeing fascism under the flag unless you paint a hammer and sickle on it.
This is my $0.02.
