Ask yourself: would you feel the same if the attack were motivated by her race? Her gender?

All this being said, the guy should do some jail time. No more than the time for assault allows. Nothing added for a so called hate crime. Queers don't need special treatment in the courts.

I read the Kos article and wonder why only her family was quoted, didn't they talk to anyone in the guys family?  Not even the the lesbian sister?  Maybe they have a side of the story that shows it didn't happen because she's a dyke.

I noticed the same thing... it was very one-sided.  It even quoted someone and doesn't say who she is.  Apparently, it was the victim's sister.

This is a lie to go along with other homosexual lobby lies.  It is true that some species resort to homosexual behavior in some instances, such as overcrowding, and some species males use sex to dominate a lesser male, there isn't anything like the homosexual  lobby claims.  They are full of it.

Also, Why did she go to that house?  I don't have much to add, but I once almost cold-cocked a friend (woman) of mine's girlfriend.  She had been goading me for a while, and my friend touched my arm and shook her head at me.  My friend's girlfriend was (still is, though the relationship ended) one of the worst people I've ever had the displeasure of knowing.  I feel sorry for anyone, man or woman, that got inot a relationship with her.

Reading the story in the MSM link it sounds like that man's (for lack of a better word) family was one extended Jerry Springer episode.  Good riddance to them all.

What is a non hate crime ???????    Is this where one goes out and commits a crime on just anyone that gets in your way ???  Don't matter who they are they are just Pray for the others.    Nuts that stage home invasions of strangers, they do not know them or hate them, they just want to torture someone, kill them and burn down their house.  They do not hate these people anymore then than a cat that catches a mouse hates the mouse personally.

This case there can be no denying that it was a hate crime. something so prime evil that can come from no where else then Hate, deep and dark to the the point of insanity.

I do not give a rats ass if the woman was a Dike or what ever, no human being should be subjected to her injury's for any reason.

Actually, I had lesbian chickens. Not kidding. Sophie Clucker & Goldie were totally devoted to each other and simply detested roosters. Most hens have a main rooster they hang around with but they wanted nothing to do with them. Sophie grieved for a couple of weeks after Goldie died. Sophie is the best chicken I've ever had. Awesome personality and very smart for a chicken, even for a Speckled Sussex who tend to be one of the more intelligent breeds. She loved to be picked up and carried around and she'd wait at the door for me to come out. Whenever a rooster tried to mount her she'd come running to me and crouch down like hens do when a rooster's going to hop on top of them and cluck at me to pick her up. I actually cried when she died. She's the only chicken buried with the rest of our pets.

I have another almost Sophie now, except Mavis isn't gay.

What I read is a family fully of trailer trash that probably brawls for fun. It's not hard to see given the behavior of the men in her family why the sister/ daughter chose a pretend man as a partner instead. And the one who got assaulted should have never went back. That's a family of hot headed losers. In the absence of their track record as a family I might consider she had a mouth that got her in trouble but for all we know she was defending her girlfriend given that cast of characters involved.
