The poster is using a post at DU to advocate that other DUers not donate to DU. That's a pretty shitty thing to do, and should be hidden. Also alerting for TOS, so admins can see that she's using their site to shit on their site.

So let me clarify a few things.

This is an action I AM TAKING. IF people chose to, or not, to donate to DU, that is their own personal decision.

Bullying is a serious issue. That thread has included words like, the person getting bullied deserves it, or my all personal favorite, **** YOU.

Oh I gave up on alerts a long time ago. It is like going to the teacher, or the principal, it is my fault. There really is not one iota of accountability for these people (before you say it, they are on ignore and the list continues to grow., and will continue to grow)

Now, we have had this conversation over the last few years. All I have asked for YEARS is that COMMUNITY STANDARDS be followed regarding harassing and bullying. At this point I am reminded of my years in school.

So yes the bullying started early, like in Kindergarten. Over the years, it evolved into actual physical assault. Yet, according to school administration, and others, like here. I was the one who brought this on because I could not play well with others. Well the fact that I was different, due to knee surgeries led to a lot of that, and there is plenty of psychology on this.

Suffice it to say, if FINALLY the standards of purpose stop pretending that this behavior is not accepted, then I will gladly give to DU.

So next time we have a kid commit suicide after repeated bullying in school, or worst, goes and shoots up the place... look in the mirror. This is our avoidance of this as much as we can. It starts exactly by tolerating it in any environment, that includes this place.

Oh and the solution that our own bullies want, and those who defend it, is exactly the same my school administration recommended in the end. LEAVE. Oh they never quite came out and said it in so many words, but their lack of action when it came to the bullies spoke volumes, even after an actual physical assault, leading to fists and myself physically defending myself. The only reason I was not expelled was there were plenty of witnesses, but the kid doing the assaulting never faced the music either.

Yes, to this day, I cross the road when rarely I see my class mates. I told them, there was a school reunion this year, to basically **** off... If any of them should live or die I care little for them. And yes, they brought me to some deep depression in school. This is what bullying does.

So I now know that bullying is a progressive value, or at least one encouraged here.

So yes, I laugh.

Now be open about it, stop pretending we have some sort of community standards and I promise to give some money I can ill afford. But really.

I know for some the issue they have, let's be brutally honest, is that I am a woman, and I actually have extensive knowledge on a few fields, well that is YOUR PROBLEM, not mine. This is part of our anti intellectual tradition, again, another progressive value.

As is the number of issues that cannot be discussed on this place, just continue to grow, including one that is like breaking nooz or something... but hey. at this point it also increasingly looks like echo chamber is where we are moving. So be it.

I really do not need to see the long list of IGNORED, who will continue to grace this site with the usual venom, and zero accountability. But serious, all I asked for all these years was for this to be done, for those mythical community standards to actually be enforced. You expect me to pay for the privileged of getting followed by a group of people who quite frankly remind me of those people all the way to kindergarten?

And like them, these folks are non entities in my life anymore. Hell, I no longer check to see how many of them have, or have not gotten pizzas. Quite honestly, once you go there, you are a non entity. Whether other people give to DU, or not, matters little to me. Nor do I expect people to join me, nor did I ask for people to join me. I just said, my wallet is closed and this is the reason... the bullies have had zero accountability for years. And lord knows I not only bought starts every fund raiser, but bought them for others as well. I will ask, that if and when they program that ability back, please no star for me. I really do not want any money given, until either this is dealt with, or we admit that we have really no community standards.
