I have an idea for a new way to pick the order of Primaries.

Step 1: Each candidate places the name of the state they're running out of "in the hat."

Step 2: Each candidate places the name of their "home state" in "the hat." Their home state can be:
a) Where they were born.
b) Where they spent most of their life.
c) Where they last held public office.
d) Any of the above are eligible to be their "home state" if they can make a "credible case."

Step 3A: The votes in "the hat" are counted, and the three states with the most votes hold their primaries first, provided that at least one state gets 2 or more votes.

Step 3B: If no state gets two or more votes, then each candidate gets to place the name of one more state "in the hat." This can be any state (or U.S. territory) that they wish.

Step 3C: Return to step 3B until there are at least 3 states with 2 or more votes.

Step 3D: In the event that more than 3 states get more than 2 votes, AND there is a TIE, then ALL states that have a TIE VOTE will have their primaries on the first day, UNLESS...

Step 3E: If a candidate so chooses, they can "break" a tie by REMOVING the name of a state that THEY placed "in the hat" within 60 minutes of the tally, for any reason.

Step 4: Each candidate places the name of any state they choose "into the hat." The votes are tallied. Those 8 states with the most votes (but more than 2 votes) will have their Primaries second.

Step 4B: If less than 8 states get two or more votes, then each candidate gets to place the name of one more state "in the hat."

Step 4C: Return to step 3B until there are at least 3 states with 2 or more votes.

Step 3D: In the event that more than 8 states get more than 2 votes, AND there is a TIE, then ALL states that have a TIE VOTE will have their primaries on the Second day. At this stage, candidates can no longer withdraw their votes to break a tie.

Step 5: Continue on as above until all 50 states and territories are assigned Primary dates.

Of course, "The Hat" is just a metaphor. It does NOT have to be an ACTUAL hat...

That is so beautiful in its simplicity even the Dems can't mess it up ... sorry couldn't keep a straight face any longer.

Wouldn't a game of Monopoly, using Monopoly Money to purchase delegates be easier and fairer?
If you want to worship an orange pile of garbage with a reckless disregard for everything, get on down to Arbys & try our loaded curly fries.

Here is a fair, and cost effective solution. Hold all the primaries on the same day. Gets the job done without mounds of moonbat bureaucracy to sift through.
