A long, long time ago
I can still remember how that wrapper used to make me smile
And, I knew if I had my chance that I'd prob'ly get some on my pants, and...
Maybe I'd be happy for a while
But, November made me shiver with election news now delivered,
Bad news on the I-pad - I couldn't believe - it was so sad
I can't remember if I cried when I heard about what that union tried,
Something touched me deep inside the day the Twinkie died
So, bye bye to the Hostess Fried Pie,
Drove my Kia to the Qik-Mart, but the Qik-Mart was dry,
Them good ol' boys were eating Snickers and cried, singing...
