PEOPLE ARE BOYCOTTING CHICKENHAWK-FIL-A, APPLEBEE'S AND PAPA JOHN'S.
If the list gets much longer, we won't be eating all the cholesterol-laden garbage that causes the health problems they don't want to insure against. Papa John can keep his DEEP BS Pizza!

2. Why are they boycotting Applebees?

I wonder if they know that Applebee's uses non-union labor to erect their buildings. Everyone that was built in MI was picketed by different unions.

I'll have to ask him about it. Today is Vet Day and they do a big thing for the Vet on this day. They have to show their military ID card and they get a free meal. I think that is wonderful.

Someone is paying for it. I decided not to partake because of the employee abuse. The supposed "fight for freedom" doesn't mean much when people here don't have it.

I really hope USMC is a mole. If not, he has a future worth keeping an eye on.

places I never go? Never been to Papa John's. As far as I know there are no Chick-a-fils around here. There's an Applebee's very nearby but their food is awful so we never use that. Also Macy's. I think we're boycotting that because Donald Trump, but I don't think I've shopped there for over 20 years because - overpriced. They are just not going to feel losing my business.

If you took a bath once and a while, they might let you in.

These figures are not up to date. But then these leopards never change spots. their executives get their marching orders and that's that.

Note that the fast food chains that make their money off the working class, are heavily Republican. The one exception used to be the Arby's, T.J. Cinnamon's, Pasta Connections system. They got bought by Wendy's and then by Roark Capital Group.

I can make an easy change based on that one ! Good excuse to avoid fast food, period.

Ours is bigger. :-)

Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

Thanks for the list DUmmy....now I know where to shop. Good thing that Outback is on the GOP list as they're probably my favorite eating establisment.

So the Democrat contributors sell overpriced home decor, overpriced clothing, and alcohol.  The Republican supporters provide food, home improvement supplies, gasoline, and a ton of other stuff.  I know who I would prefer to boycott

No doubt when these companies start accepting EBT cards they'll panic.  Until then, not so much.

I'm getting myself a large BBQ chicken pizza from Papa John's next weekend.  I haven't been to Applebee's in awhile (none close to us...), but I will go out of my way to eat at one if it will be DUMMIE FREE!

DUmmies, your boycotts never work.  None of those restaurants accept EBT.  ;)

We started ordering from the more frequently once we moved into our house.  Their website always says 30-40 minutes for delivery, but the guy is always here within 20-25 minutes.  I love it.  :)

They're the only ones that deliver in our area besides Dominoe's, and Dominoe's sucks.

As a pizza franchisee said on Fox this morning, if you're talking about boycotting any place that is converting full-timers to part-timers and trimming staff under 50 because of Obamacare, you should plan on eating a lot of meals at home in the future.

Thanks for the great list, DUmmies.  Requires no change in behavior on my part, or sacrifice.  I once used a Martha Stewart paint, and it was hideous.  Had to paint over it with something purchased from Home Depot.

BTW, reading through that list, I recognized some companies; we do business with them.  DUmmies, I don't think you realize how entwined your lives are with them.  Flowers doesn't make bouquets.  Do you know how hard it is to avoid ConAgra?  Doesn't matter, they'll get your kids when they're at school.  The democrats have forbidden bringing home lunches, remember.
